What does the brightness of LED lamps depend on?

LED is a solid-state semiconductor device that can convert electrical energy into visible light. It can directly convert electricity into light. The heart of LED is a semiconductor chip. One end of the chip is attached to a bracket, one end is the negative pole, and the other end is connected to the positive pole of the power supply, so that the entire chip is encapsulated by epoxy resin. It has the following characteristics:

1. Energy saving: The energy consumption of LED is only 1/10 of that of incandescent lamps and 1/4 of that of energy-saving lamps.

2. Long life: The life of LED can reach more than 50,000 hours, and the service time is longer.

3. It can work at high speed: If energy-saving lamps are frequently started or turned off, the filament will turn black and break quickly. LED will not have this problem, so it is safer.

4. Solid-state packaging, can be well transported and installed: can be installed in any miniature and closed equipment, not afraid of vibration.

5. Environmental protection: does not contain harmful substances such as mercury, does not harm the environment, and is easy to recycle.

6. LED can increase the luminous surface through the lens, sublimate the visual effect, no glare, and eliminate visual fatigue.

LED

Nowadays, LED lamps are widely used. Compared with traditional lamps, the brightness of LED lamps depends on the following three aspects:

1. The light effect of LED lamp beads. Different input currents will make LEDs have different light effects. Often, reducing the supply current will have higher light effects than full supply. With the same power, the higher the light effect, the higher the brightness.

2. The series and parallel connection of LEDs inside the lamp. For LEDs with the same light effect, if there are fewer parallel connections and more series connections, the input current is required to be smaller. At this time, even if the input current is small, the brightness of the LED lamp beads will be higher.

3. The light source models used in lamps are different, and the light effect of the same input current can be high or low. There are 120lm/w and 80lm/w lamp beads on the market, and the supply current is the same.
